Education and employment are critical to building future prosperity. That is why Old Mutual Wealth UK has partnered with the award-winning UK charity MyBnk, to deliver the UK's highest rated money skills programme for young people, to two of the local communities where they operate is Southampton and the Isle of Man.
MyBnk designs and delivers programmes for 11-25 year olds in schools and youth organisations. Its mission is to empower young people to take charge of their future by bringing money and enterprise to life, clearly aligning with our purpose - to help create prosperity for the generations of today and tomorrow.
The three year project started in the summer in of 2016. MyBnk trainers are armed with the latest resources and activities to help students learn how to budget, bank and borrow, understand the tax system, student finance and employment rights, ultimately, preparing them for independent living.
